My students are in a Kindergarten class, where more than half my class are English Language Learners. Some of the English Language Learners have parents that do not speak English either. I teach the students in English only, while another teacher pulls them out for English as a Second Language instruction. These students do not have the resources at home to support their learning, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
