Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Manges, and I teach seniors at Tussey Mountain High School. We are considered a poverty district and with the recent budget cuts, we do not have the funding to purchase a lot of materials for our classrooms. I have many college bound students and many students that are leaving to go straight to work. Before they enter the real world, my goals are to try and prepare them to face adversities and overcome them. I want all of my students to be able to solve problems, be great critical thinkers, and to be able to connect to real world experiences through literature and hands on experiences. I want to help prepare my college bound students to be able to flourish through writing, but I also desire for all of my students to have adequate communication skills. I love my students, am very passionate about teaching, and I strive to make a positive impact on my students lives.
