Our school is located in the Rampart District of Los Angeles. The neighborhood exposes our students to gangs, violence, drugs, poverty, hunger, and crime on a daily basis. They have very limited resources at home and our school is constantly grappling with the task of meeting their academic, as well as their ever present social and emotional needs at school. Due to budgetary restrictions, we have very limited resources in our science classrooms, and we lack access to proper science labs. Our students are hard working, creative, and innovative. They deserve the same opportunities to succeed as students who live in more affluent neighborhoods around Los Angeles. Please donate and help provide our students with equal access to lab materials!
