My students need a few things to start the year off right. The first thing they need is a classroom rug. Not only do we do a lot of academic work on the carpet in Kindergarten, we also do a lot of character development. My students need a place to gather that is comfortable and inviting. Having flexible work space options gives students a choice on what is a more comfortable place to get their work done. The portable lap desks and clipboards will give my students an option of working in other places besides at their desk. My students will be more engaged with different workspace options and being able to work in comfort.
