My students have so much personality. They have a true love for learning, especially when they are able to relate to the subject in their own lives. My students are 5th graders at a middle school. It is their first year in middle school, so they are adjusting to the high expectations. I am doing a current unit on the U.S. Government and the 2012 Presidential Election. They love learning about the presidential election and have a true passion for it. They love asking questions to truly understand our government.
