My second grade students are a blend of English language learners and native English speakers who live in a low income neighborhood, but still love school. These brave second graders are forced to overcome many obstacles including hunger, poverty, and the lack of engaging learning materials necessary for their learning. The projects I post are all dedicated to helping them focus and remain positive amongst all of their daily stressors.
