Since we switched our math curriculum to Singapore Math our students have been more engaged and collaborative during math time. They enjoy using laminated sheets for working problems, then holding up their sheets so the teacher and classmates can see everyone's answer. With the laminated sheets, when an error is made it's easy for students to correct their answer and display the correct answer. Students really enjoy using laminated sheets during math time because they can show off when they have the correct answer and help each other when an error is made. Students are also aware of how saving paper saves trees and helps the environment, and they feel good about that. Students also like having other materials created for the classroom preserved through lamination so our classroom and hall displays will look attractive all school year. This laminator will not only be used for my students, but teachers on my team will have access to it as well.
