The students within my school are 99% below poverty level. Many students do not come equipped with the basic daily needs such as notebooks and pencils. Our students present many challenges both in behavior and learning. I want to make learning more enjoyable by having students create projects they can display. This allows the students to feel accomplished. Having these materials also allows for students to work together towards a common goal and foster a sense of friendship and trust which is a difficult concept for many. The students long to learn and I want to be the teacher to make them feel as if they can conquer anything!!

About my class
