Many of my students live in homes of poverty. Parents try very hard to raise their children in these extreme situations, but hard times makes this very difficult. I have first graders that travel to different homes and do not have standard stability to call a home. The school environment is the only good environment that many of my children can relate to daily for peer interactions and a stable environment. These are wonderful children that need help in expressing themselves to help them succeed to their greatest potential and to help them become wonderful adults to fulfill our society in the future.

About my class
