My students are learning at a public, turnaround school in Baltimore City. Our school serves students from Pre-K through 8th grade, so my 6th graders have literally hundreds of younger boys and girls looking up to them as role models. One of the most important things I want my students to model is a positive work ethic and desire to achieve - especially in math!
