Bit coding robots will provide my first grade students with hands on engagement as they learn and develop problem solving skills. My students will have opportunities to integrate core subjects with coding and robotics as they plan paths, distance, sensing and light animations. Developing solutions for the challenges that arise will generate a sense of excitement and empowerment as they discover that they have been successful. Robots will bring a common goal to the table as my students work collaboratively with these engaging devices. Early digital literacy will encourage these young ones to one day become our future computer scientists.

About my class
