Our school is located in the inner-city and most of my students are labeled at-risk. My pre-kindergarten four year old students have an additional challenge of being away from their homes/parents for the first time. Many of my students come in with limited supplies and experiences. It is vital for me to provide as many positive opportunities and experiences as I can. Our classroom is located in a portable building that is very old. Due to budget cuts we are able to buy basic necessities.
