We have an delightful group of curious, knowledge seeking kindergartners at Cambridge Heights Open Elementary School! They challenge and amaze their teachers daily! No interior walls in the majority of the campus allows for camaraderie among students, as well as teachers! Our kindergarten students love learning! They seek out books of many genres, share ideas, write in their journals, and are making lasting friendships. They excel in our critical literacy lessons where we learn about the different parts of a story far beyond the characters and setting. We also focus on "lifting our language" because "devouring" a book is so much more fun than merely reading it.
