My students are 8th graders at a public school who learn best by getting hands on involvement in their learning experience. I teach a diverse group of students ranging from special education students to honors students. For many of them, science is a subject that has always been challenging and overwhelming. However, a strong hands on approach allows my students to enjoy science and realize it is something they can do and understand.
