Our school is in a rural, depressed area of WV. Our high school is made up of students who all are eligible for free and reduced lunch. The students have little to do, but we have been able to maintain a boys and girls tennis team for the past five years. Students have learned to play and enjoy the game, not only competitively but as a lifetime sport. Once the students learn the game they thoroughly enjoy it and spend their free time playing. They just need to know that someone cares enough to support them.

About my class
