My students are all Somali refugees. They attend a public school in Maine. Their parents are struggling to find jobs. The students are getting "stuck" part-way to becoming English-proficient and become frustrated easily. It is a challenge working with these wonderful children, but well worth it! I wouldn't change it for anything!
