My students are fourth grade students in a diverse, "GATE" clustered class. These students live in a middle class socioeconomic community. There is diverse ethnicity within my classroom. We receive little or no funding. Received SMART Board technology through a grant 4 years ago. The students have a thirst for learning through multimedia technology. They have it at home and crave or expect it at school. Our school is a community/neighborhood school and is made up of general education, GATE clustered program, and an on-site special education program. We currently scored 932 on CST Testing (California State Testing). The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is strong and participates at all levels at our school. Our classroom sizes seem to be getting larger every year. Currently, I have 33 students and an additional 5 rotating students.
