My school is a Title 1 school with a population of 800 students from a variety of ethnic groups and nationalities. We have a large population of African American, Angelo, Hispanic, and Vietnamese students. We have a few apartment complexes, but most live in homes owned or rented in the neighborhood. Our school is for students Pre K-5th grade. The library is open all day with an aide manning it when Mrs. Price, the part time librarian, is not here. The library is open for students to use the mini laptops in the library for research throughout the day. The projector will be used by classes during the day and after school in both the library and as a back up to be used throughout the school.
