I chose guided reading books based on my students' reading levels from last school year. I chose books with diverse characters because I believe representation matters. If you are able to see yourself in literature, then you are able to connect better with it. You will be supporting/sponsoring the love of reading within my students. With your help, I will mail books to my students and lead guided reading groups virtually. They will have an incredibly rich reading experience because they will get to keep the books.
