My students are an amazing group of 1st graders in North Carolina. We are in a school where 100% of the students are on free breakfast and lunch. These students are so eager to learn but are sometimes limited by the resources that we are able to provide, with constant cuts in the schools budget, teachers often are left to try and find the best resources they can on their own. Students get so excited when I bring in new supplies, but I'm unable to provide everything that they need. Providing my students with all the resources possible helps me create an atmosphere of learning that can reach past boundaries and greatly enhance the quality of learning my students experience.
