I teach Math Problem Solving to 124 fifth grade students. My students attend a fifth through eighth grade charter middle school. We have a rigorous academic program that focuses on college readiness. 95% of our student body is comprised of minorities, with 87% qualifying for free/reduced lunch. Despite the challenges my students face, they work hard and love to learn. They enjoy math and are highly-motivated by tactile learning and games.
