My school is a magnet school in an urban setting. The students perform well but are often forgotten in terms of finances in a large district that is already broke. The mindset is, "They already perform without the monies... so why do we need to fund them?". Unfortunately, the we can't be further from the truth to that statement and the students are using Pentium 4's and iMac's from 2002 in two of our three labs.
