Students will use the reading center with headphones to follow along in their book while listening. I want them to benefit from following the words on the page with a book. Then they will answer questions and write about what they have read. The reading center activities will be used in small groups to reinforce what they have learned with me. Keeping students engaged in meaningful learning at center activities is a must, while I pull other students to have them read to me. Leveled books are a must for me to individualize learning for my beginning readers. I appreciate so much your help with my beginning readers.
