I have many reasons why laptops are needed in my classroom. Laptops can offer interactive simulations and illustrations that can produce a much greater depth of understanding of any given concept. Computers will definitely change my students learning experiences for the better. Laptops are needed in my classroom because my students need more practice reading and hearing other people read to them. The new reading and math programs are Internet based. The students do not have Internet access at home and at school we have internet but not classroom computers. Therefore, these laptops will benefit and increase their academic growth across disciplines.
