My students are high energy and ready to learn. They love learning new things and they absorb new information like sponges. They sit and ponder new ideas and information. You can actually see when their minds are thinking and applying what was taught. My favorite part is when a student shrieks I GOT IT TEACHER!! I DID IT! Do not underestimate these kindergarteners, was a lesson I learned really quickly after teaching 1st grade for many years and being fairly new to teaching kindergarten.
