My student's are the best in the world of course. I enjoy working with all of them and catering to their individualized needs and they enjoy me! We have a great rapport which makes them even more awesome. The more information they are comfortable sharing with me, the more they are not afraid to make a mistake, the more they trust me--the more we can grow! They know that every right answer stemmed from a wrong answer and every mistake fosters mastery! This is what I would say about my school. We are a family. We have trust! We have student's that come to school to grow--we are growing together! Sounds like a family right? There is only one perfect word to describe my student's and my school....Family! It takes a village and we are that village every child needs as we welcome parents and grandparents in our learning community as well! To be more specific, I have bring a parent/ grandparent to speech/ language class days as well to make sure we all grow together!
