Based in Texas, my students come to school not only to learn, but also to have a safe, stable environment for 8 hours each day. I am challenged daily with meeting their broad range of learning needs as well as their social and emotional needs. Our class is very culturally diverse, and we work hard to create an accepting, loving environment where each child can feel comfortable expressing himself or herself in a risk-free environment. These Kindergarteners make teaching fun for me, and I want to make learning as fun for them as I possibly can.
