My students are a wonderfully diverse group with special needs ranging from profound to mild in a self-contained middle school classroom. Even though we attend a typical middle school and are the only class like us there we want to be just like everybody else. We are trying to learn our basic skills like colors and numbers, life skills like laundry and cooking, all while keeping up with the state standards.
