The one thing that my students say they missed the most during the COVID-19 pandemic was social interaction, even when we came back to school there were things like masks, social distancing, etc. that added barriers to students feeling as connected as they once were. Students enjoy collaborating and learning with one another. The materials I've selected will help foster a student-centered learning environment with opportunities to work together on projects and activities. In my cart I've placed a variety of different collaboration tools, they can work together solving problems at the whiteboards, play a class-wide game, or work in pairs or small groups. Lamination extends the lifetime of materials I create for activities, it also makes it easy to wipe down with a sanitizing wipe to prevent the spread of germs.
