I teach a preschool special day classroom for children ages 3-5 years old that are diagnosed with mild to severe global disabilities, and who all have communication delays. My classroom is located on a public elementary school site that serves general and special education students through sixth grade. My students are sweet, fun-loving and friendly, who arrive at school with big smiles everyday. I am always so proud of them for trying their best in class each day. My students especially enjoy sensory and art activities, which promote so much needed language along with many other developmental skills.
