My students are K - 8th grade. Many students come from farm families or blue collar families. Parents work hard and our community is small. We have around 25 kids per grade level. Our school is one building for Pre - 12 grade. The kids are fun and LOVE music class. We have a small diversity in our school and that is one reason I want to explore outside the "musical box". Working with different cultures and areas of the world in drumming will help do this.
