Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not having to cut and by hand the manipulatives they want to use. How can I show a multiplication array? Just pick your symbols and ZAP! Out they pop on the Cricut and use them to manipulate the data. Four rows of three stars is now a snap. Then want to make an array for 2X6=12, no problem. Simply transform the already cut stars into new groups. This will save time and more efficently allow students to have manipulatives to use. Whether for math or character education. How cool would it be to make a collage for mindful activties! Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their skills as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology (besides video games).
