The use of Chromebooks will be a daily activity in my debate class. Participating in the NYC Urban Public Forum Debate Tournaments, students are given a topic each month which they need to research and prepare cases to debate against other schools. Chromebooks allow students to research topics to find the most current up-to-date evidence to support their cases. This added technology would enable my students to share their work and research with one another to build the strongest argument possible. By having Chromebooks students will be able to actively research topics and focus on their argumentative writing! By donating to our project, you will not only provide the necessary tools to enable my students to succeed at these tournaments, you will help to improve their argumentative writing and critical thinking skills. You will foster an atmosphere in which students work together to reach a common goal.
