I teach a group of 75 bright, dynamic 5th and 6th grade students at a public Charter school on Chicago's South Side. 94% of my students are low-income and every student receives two free meals a day. My students come to school every day ready and excited to learn, but they don't always have all of the materials and supplies that they need to succeed.
