There has been a great deal of research on the benefits of flexible seating in the classroom. Flexible seating is student-centered and allows students to choose the seating that is best for their learning style. It also supports a healthy life style for students by increasing blood flow. WOBBLE chairs and yoga balls allow students to keep their bodies engaged which increases focus and motivation during instruction. By having a variety of flexible seating options, students will be able to choose seating that provides comfort and support for their individual needs. When students have buy in and choices in the classroom environment they feel respected and valued.
