My students are happy learners. I try to support each learner. I want each child to feel safe to be able take risks while they launch into unfamiliar areas to learn the most they can learn. Most of the kindergarteners that come to our school are already behind the district average by one year. While the children do progress each year, because they have started out behind, it is hard to keep up with the district average scores.
