My students come from a school named Aki Kurose, which is named after a famous lady that helped lead a peace movement in Seattle. My students come from struggling families, and most live in poverty. It is sometimes hard for kids to enjoy learning and have fun while do it, when they are often worried about things that go on at home. I try my hardest to make learning fun, so that my students can learn math and be successful in their futures. All my students are very eager to learn and do well in school, and one way I hope to that is by having a classroom iPad to help them learn math in a more fun and interactive way. With all the technology out there, kids love to be hands on, and there are many great apps that help kids learn math, and that is what I am hoping to do! I really hope to give my students this opportunity, and they are all very deserving of this way of learning.
