Houston, Texas is one of the most diverse cities in the entire country--not just racially, but socioeconomically. Students at my school range from every walk of life. They are students at a disadvantage in their education, but not in their goals and dreams. They strive daily to learn about everything they know. They want to become the next doctors, chemists, writers, police officers, military officials, etc, but they are just at a disadvantage, all because of their background.

About my class
