As an English Language Arts teacher and mentor, I work with over 40 students daily who need to practice reading and writing skills. With over 90 percent living in poverty, the challenges for my students are real. I want to make learning the best part of their day. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to engage students in practicing oral language, reading strategies, and writing skills.
