I am so excited to use globes for reading and social study connections. These aren't just any globes. They are accompanied with a technology app that allows scholars to hover their iPad over the globe and project a hologram of the country. The globes bring geography, and cultures to life! Scholars will travel to reading stations guided by their maps. Along their journey, scholars will travel to destinations and document their journey with a passport and stickers. My class will partner with the National Parks Service to learn about wildlife, geography, and architecture. We are so fortunate to live in San Antonio, Texas. It is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site-San Antonio Missions. Our very first partnership is with the ALAMO! The ALAMO is sharing their traveling trunk of artifacts and books. My scholars love history, geography and discovery! Please help us make this dream come true!
