My students belong to a high risk, Title I population, and their parents do not have the education or the tools to help them with the academic goals we want to achieve in Texas, specially with the new STAAR testing. I really want to instill in them the love for reading and math. I want to offer them in my classroom tools and opportunities that otherwise they would not have access to.
