These supplies will be used to promote student led, play based learning and creativity during center time and group activities. The costumes will promote pretend play and learning about community helpers. Students will develop vocabulary and communication skills by being able to role play using the costumes requested. The art materials will promote student creativity with mediums not easily available due to limited funding. They will provide them with the materials they need in order to create the art projects they have in mind. This project will enhance student engagement by zoning in on their interest since items were specifically requested by the students during classroom activities.
