Our students live in a digital age where creating, editing and producing films & educational content is key! Learning a foreign language can be daunting at times, but with the right materials and motivation kids realize they can do anything they put their minds to (and have fun while doing it)! The use of technology not only encourages my students to want to learn French, it makes it fun and relative to their everyday lives. Learning French is more than just reading & writing a language, it's being able to communicate on various platforms. My students want to incorporate their current interests and lifestyles (such as snapchat, instagram & facebook) into their learning. By being awarded a class ipad, keyboard & various art supplies & laminator my students will have the chance to create, edit & produce their own French films & videos (something they may never have a chance to do otherwise due to the limitations of family income and school budgets).
