My kids are amazing. I have 45 between two classes. One class is a gifted, high achieving group, and the other is a low level ESL group. About 95 percent are from low income and/or broken families. It is hard to get them excited about learning because most of them do not have any dreams about their future. Most of them come from uneducated families that do not really know how to motive their children to do their best. These kids do not really know what life has to offer outside of their neighborhood.
