I am Speech-Language Pathologist in a local school district providing services to children in a special program as well as speech and language services to the general K-5 population. These children range in abilities from exhibiting difficulties articulating sounds in words, identifying basic concepts to nonverbal communicators who are unable to vocalize their wants and needs. My goal is to work with teachers, families and students to develop successful communication with each child. We build on their current knowledge and expand to the next step. We provide various ways of learning to verbalize consonants and vowels in many different patterns. These skills are essential to learning language and becoming effective communicators.

About my class
