I teach 19 energetic, eager first grade students from mostly low income families. They do not have all that they need at home, but I do all that I can to provide them with the tools they need to succeed at school. The teachers in our county are only given $100 to buy supplies for the year. It is usually consumed in the first month on basic classroom supplies. Extra hands on learning activities are a luxury!

About my class
