Our school is a Title 1, ESL (English Second Language) Center school. While the majority of our students come from impoverished homes, our school is rated an A school. Many of our parents are active in PTA and volunteer in the classrooms. It is not uncommon to have several English language learners in a single classroom. Last year I had a student from Korea, one from Mexico, and one from Germany. My students love to learn Math, I try to incorporate hands-on materials into every lesson.
