As a special education teacher, I consider teaching to be a great honor and privilege. With it comes a great responsibility as well. It is said that, "Minds are like parachutes. They only function when they are opened." I strive to make learning fun, interesting, and meaningful by creating hands-on-experiences for my students and by relating the lessons to their lives. I teach Math, Reading, Language Arts, and Study Skills to students ages 11-15 years old in grades 6-8.

About my class
