My students will use the Just Write! books from Scholastic and writing center activities from Lakeshore to become more polished writers. These resources will be tools the students can use to become successful. My students this year are struggling with basic writing concepts such as: indentation, introductions, capitalization, punctuation, and writing to a task. They desperately need these resources to become better writers. Many of my students have a story to tell or a voice to be heard, but they can't express themselves in writing clearly yet. I might have the next J.K. Rowling or Stephen King in my class, but at this point wouldn't be able to tell from their writing. Please help me get the resources they need to become successful.
