I have 19 students in my classroom. Our school is a Public school and many of my students receive free and reduced lunch. In addition, I also have ESE students (exceptional education students) and regular education students in the classroom. All of these students would benefit greatly from the interactive whiteboard. My students are eager learners and anything interactive always sparks their interest! Research has shown that when students are taking an active part in their learning they will retain more of the information for future use. Having use of the now!Board would allow for the hands-on learning that turns an abstract concept into one that is concrete allowing for mastery of the required standards.
